Great value for money. Plenty of torque. A joy to ride. While having 6 carbs, they are not a problem. Rarely need tuning . Access to service areas easy (oil filter etc). No fairings to remove.

Best Features:
Torque, good fuel economy for size of engine (and the 6 carbs- no low carb diet here folks) Eye catcher, great handling.Comfortable solo, 2 up or towing our camper.
Improvements:
Maybe tweak rear suspension. Inclusion of a centre stand.

I've never heard of anyone needing more power than that 6 cylinder Al. What got your attention?

Just that big looking 6 cylinder, the torque, comfort etc. We travelled across Australia and back plus a little bit of side tours with a mate on a BMWK1100Lt. He said that he wouldn't travel with us again......everyone wanted to talk about the Valk. lol We tow a trailer or a camper trailer 2 up on our trips and it's just effortless. Don't need the reverse gear or all the plastic the 'Wings have either. I have recently bought a C109R to sit along side her in the garage as I do like the big V twins, Just a shame the VTX1800 is no longer available here....and I happened to get a great deal.

I have been a big fan of the VALK,S for years but never owned one I think I would go for the interstate Valk but not sure they sold them here in OZ or its sold as the standard here .
