2007 Honda VTX1800C VTX1800C Review: Great bike with plenty to offer

Review Summary:

Ive had this bike for a few years now and almost didnt buy as I thought it would be too heavy for me to handle. A mate of mine who had one and is shorter than me convinced me that the weight would not be an issue and he was right. I think if feels light due to the low seat positioning which gives you good balancing. This bike has plenty of power and it is ready at top end to give it on demand.
Instruments are mounted on the bars so you dont have to take your eyes of the road to check your speed which I like. Also the footpegs are standard on this bike which I like as Im not comfortable with floor boards. The dual disc braking system pulls this 340kg machine up pretty quickly at high speed. Has great torque when travelling on windy steep roads and you wont need to change gears too much once you find the right one.
Had to replace the stock seat with a Mustang as I would get a numb bum after 30 min on the stock.

This is a powerful bike for a Twin engine

Just get on one and ride....

You are absolutely right about the stock seat. I think Honda uses the stiffest foam they can find. I replaced mine with an Ultimate seat - MUCH better for riding all day. Nice bike. Keep it shiny side up!
