2010 Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic XVS650A(C) Review: Best choice first bike

Motorcycle:
Year:
2010
Color:
Candy Apple Red
Review Summary:

I was advised to get the V-Star 650 as my first cruiser after a 23yr absence from riding and still being on my restricted license this is the biggest I could get, my first only bike ever was a 175 dirt bike and I was a bit nervous getting a bigger bike after not having ridden for so long but its something I really wanted to do and I didn't really want to mess around with say a 250 then in 3 months time turn around and buy a bigger bike, so I thought just go for the bigger bike straight off and I'm glad I did.

These are a fantastic bike, low to the ground and well weighted, it took me a little while to get my confidence back again, but now I have I've put  just on 3000 km on it in about 4 months and loving every minute when I ride.

There's heaps of accessories for them and I've got plenty more I want to add. Every time I'm out riding and stopped there's always someone that comments on how nice a bike it is. I think this bike should do me for some time to come.

Best Features:
Looks bigger than a 650, most people think its the 1100, low to the ground can plant both feet easily, comfortable to ride now with an Airhawk and sheep skin combo cover. Japanese quality.
Improvements:
A more comfortable stock seat
