Review Summary:

It took me a while to settle on what style of bike I liked and I only had to look at my last ride to figure that out . Something bigger than my V Star 650 Classic , has a screen and hard case panniers . Hello Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad VN 1700 . As soon as I saw this machine in the bike shop it was love at firs site . I did my usual and tracked one down 2nd hand with low K's on it . I found one about $7000 cheaper than new it is a 2010 model only 4100 K's , one owner who had spent I believe about 4 or $5000 on genuine up grades and mods .
what can I say about this machine , it's heaven on wheels to me . Very comfortable to ride and extremely well balanced for a big bike , in fact I would say it's an easier ride than my 650 . It has every thing you could want , to many things to list for a nice big cruiser . Very comfortable seat and seating position and adjustable screen .
It has an enourmas amount of power for a big machine even when your in 6th gear and on the open road . Fuel economy is very good with a 20 Lt tank will get you to the next station no problem . I've yet to do the math on the economy but at a glance it's about 400 K's to a tank roughly . When I do the math I'll let you know .
Extremely happy with my new machine and it will stay in my garage for a long time I predict .
