Back in the saddle again

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum and just wanted to take a second to introduce myself. I just recently got my 2000 Suzuki Intruder VL1500 after several years of not owning a bike. I quit riding several years ago and I've missed it ever since.

I just recently found a beautiful specimine of a bike and snapped it up! It was owned by a single owner (a Pilot) who took meticulous care of it. She has 50k miles on her, but you'd never know it from the looks.

I like to tinker and make my bikes look and ride as good as I possibly can. I'm not an experienced mechanic but if things make logical sense I can often figure them out.

I've only had my bike a few days and have already put over 100 miles on it between several in-town trips.

I look forward tor reading through some great threads and getting to know some of you!

Welcome Brian, from Canberra Australia. Lots of Suzuki fans on this site and lots of knowledgeable, helpful, friendly folk from all over the world. Be active and participate ... you’ll get a lot out of it.

Thanks Peter! I've actually been to Australia once. We visited The Great Barrier Reef, Sydney and the Uluru Monolith. It was a wonderful but rushed trip. I'd love to visit again sometime.

Welcome from Washington State.. You have a great bike they are runners and maintenance free. Except for the general maintenance. Keep coming back and you will get to know us better. Some here are just a little strange.. but not ME.. We are having a 2018 CC ride to Eureka Springs AR. this summer. Your welcome to join on in. June 25-28th. Glad you stopped by

That’s one up on me Brian ... I’ve been to lots of places in this country but not Uluru ... still on my bucket list

Welcome from Medford, OR, Brian. As Wayne said, stay active here and you'll make friends from around the world. Wayne, what's wrong with being strange? It just spices up life.

Hi Brian - from Greg - Down in the Snowy Mountains area in Southern New South Wales - Welcome to the CC Site - I have recently, almost 12mths now(5th April), that I have gotten back into riding after 20 years layoff with Spine problems, I never thought I would be able to ride again - but here I am almost 1 year back into it again at a much slower pace than I used to be, but enjoying it ever so much ..... Make yourself at home - post some piccys or a vid or three and get to know some of the Great people here .... from all over the Globe ...
