Need help with my 2004 Yamaha v Star

I have checked all the switches, I have got to be missing something, lights work signals work horn works but not turning over??????

You need to see if you have power to starter. The best way is to use a multimeter. You can get a cheap one from Harbor Freight, auto parts stores, Walmart, etc. If you have voltage at the terminal, the starter needs help. If not, check at the start switch and starter relay. Do you have a service manual?

You may have to remove the starter and clean out all the carbon inside. They have a been known to stop rotating due to the carbon. Once cleaned thy work great. Get a service manual it is the cheapest thing you ever buy.

make sure the spacers go in correctly and the torq is right
