The Black Dog Ride - National 1 Day Ride is a nationwide event with 17 legs across every State & Territory in Australia where riders get on their bikes to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention. The inaugural ride saw over 2000 people participate nationwide and Black Dog Riders made their own record for "most black dogs on motorbikes" which we're attempting to break in 2013! Can you help us beat 1,300+ black dogs on bikes in 2013?
The 2013 Black Dog Ride - National 1 Day Ride will be held on Sunday 24th March. There are BDR National 1 Day Rides in every corner of the country. Registrations are officially open!
Lifeline is the beneficiary of the funds raised on this Black Dog Ride. Lifeline is the pre-eminent suicide prevention organisation in Australia. Lifeline provides national services and campaigns that promote emotional wellbeing, encourage help seeking, and address suicide prevention and awareness in addition to providing vital access to crisis support, suicide prevention and mental health support services. Funds raised by Black Dog Ride during the National 1 Day Ride help Lifeline to maintain and build their vital suicide prevention programs across the nation
