Use this listing to let every one know what your plans are. Where and when you will be there. Probably contact info. Once we have an idea which day most members will be there, we can then say where we will all meet.

We will be staying at the Buffalo Chip - Arriving Sunday, August 2nd and leaving Wednesday, August 5th. Leave me an e-mail at: lendeye@telus.net, or call my cell at 587-224-9444 if you plan to be in Sturgis and vicinity at the same time. Be great to have a bunch of us meet somewhere for a beer or three........!

Yes Len, You picked a good dates, we can get together to have a drink on my birthday, the 4th. email playinrb@gmail.com . cell 541-941-0650. not sure where I am staying yet. Trying to get Wayne to get his friend Ron to commit whether he is going with his mobile home. If not I'll be camping someplace with the pickup. Will trailer the Bird so I can cut off a 2 days of travel time, and have more secure sleeping arrangement versus tent. South Dakota thunderstorms can drench a tent. Know from experience for having lived there 25 years.

I'm not sure yet what days, but I'll coordinate with Sapito. That might be our honeymoon trip. ♡

I'll be coming down with Len so looking forward to that birthday drink (or two) Randy. I've been promised no rain that week so thinking Happy Thoughts. Take care and ride safe friends.

Hey guys and gals. Is there anyway to keep the link to this on the main log in page? It kind of gets lost if you don't know what to look for. I think more folks would see it that way.

I think the only way to do that is to keep the discussion going and active all the time so it gets posted as a frequently duscussed topic for the week. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to "pin" it to the main screen.

Thanks Joyce. It was just a thought. We will have to do what you said and keep it going.

If it can be done, I'd love to see as many members from CCC as possible at the "biggest party in the world".

Yes it will be, they are predicting record attendance. 605000 in 2003. Predictions are 750,000 to maybe a million. http://rapidcityjournal.com/news/local/a-monster-on-the-horizon-annual-r... . Just be prepared to stand back and watch and don't be in a hurry to go anywhere.

Yeah, it will probably be quite crowded.

See the bikes, go site-seeing. Go back and see more cool bikes, and go site-seeing. Get out of town before it gets crazy at night and go toast marshmallows until a reasonable bed time. Get up next morning and do it all again. Biggrin

That sums it up for me Joyce. Not much for getting drunk, raises hell with trying to ride in the morning. There are so many gorgeous roads to ride around on in the Black Hills. Being August, it is always best to start early and be done by mid afternoon before it gets way too hot. Once in a lifetime event for me, kinda like Woodstock. Can say I was to the 75th.
-- Not to knock Harley any for being gutsy and being the official sponsor for the next 75 years, but saddens me that Indian didn't step up to the plate for it. It was Indian dealership that starting this party 75 years ago.

Well, with Indian just recently getting back into the scene, HD may have seriously out-bid them.

I guess I can judge which I like better when I get there. Ride the Bird up to each one and see if they can convince me to trade. They would have to have one really, really, really good incentive. IE same current payments and no extra cash needed. HA, LMAOROTFL. I guess I'll be staying with the Bird. I'm wishing for something that would never happen. And I'm not mean enough to tease them. Besides neither of them have in their lineup a bike with same power that gets up to 55 mpg like I do, but I sure do like some of the Indians and wouldn't turn one down if given to me. Same for Harley. Can't upset the Harley folks.

I'll be at Key Stone that Monday evening. Bruce at 601-248-3518. Or madhouse10@wildblue.net

an update from the Buffalo Chip campgrounds, everything you need to know, http://www.buffalochip.com/Portals/0/2015/News/SBC-ESSENTIALS-GUIDE_6.1....

Riding from Massachusetts with my wife and another couple. Will be taking Rte 84 to Rte 81 to Rte 80. Leaving July 25th plan on arriving at our campgrounds on the 30th. Contact me if you live on that route if you would like to meet. email: harleylife@yahoo.com

If anyone happens to be near south-central ND on July 25th, on your way to Sturgis, feel free to come to mine and Rob's wedding. I know that is a little early to be in the area for the Rally, but I can offer some other neat attractions to do in between. Message me for more details.

Congrats. Maybe the guys up Canada way may be in your area about that time.

Thanks! I'm hoping that we can spend a couple of days at Sturgis during the Rally. We'll see.

I thought sturgis was the honeymoon destination

Yeah, we're hoping. At least for a couple of days. But we both are changing jobs this month, too. We might have to get back to work right away.

Roweanne, congratulations to both of you! New marriage, new jobs! Hope to see you in Sturgis, but we won't be there until the 2nd of August, and we're at the Buffalo Chip for 3 nights. We leave for Cody, WY on the 5th. There are lots of places to ride in the Sturgis area - I expect the major ride destinations will be VERY busy (Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, The Needles Highway, Devil's Tower etc), so arranging any meetings on the road will pretty much have to be done THAT day. If we don't see you, we'll have a toast to a long and happy marriage! Ride safely!

I'm there when you are Len, but staying down in Hill City. I'll phone you once I get up that way. Don't plan on partying much nor attending any concerts since I can't hear the person next to me in crowds. Do want to ride in the early hours of the various roads, particularly Needles Highway. Have been to Devil's Tower. May try Custer State Park, Bird vs Buffalo. Hope NOT.

Sounds good, Randy. You have my cell phone #? PM me if you don't, and I'll get it to you.

Thanks, Lendirk! Biggrin

Yes Len, as long as it hasn't changed from the one you posted up above. Mine is still the same. We need to find a date that everyone will be there and then announce a meeting place.

i'll be headed out at 05:00 Saturday morning headed to Keystone. Staying at the K bar S lodge.

Will be down Sunday with lendirk at the Buffalo Chip. Thought |'d leave my cell number. 403-952-6080 or larrpross@gmail.com. "Party On".

I'm envious of you guy's. 75th Sturgis I think will break a million this year. Wish I was their. Enjoy the Rally, and most of all enjoy the company. Wish you all a safe and enjoyable trip.
