My first bike was a Harley Sprint 350 , nobbies and no baffles fun bike to break in on. Then a Honda CB500T was OK then I quit I guess because of starting a family. Waited about 30 yrs and started back ... more
in on my 950 Tour not sure if I was going to feel the same way about riding or not. Well I wish now I would have bought a bike completely tricked out with everything I want , need , and am seeing in all the great pics. I may trade in or just keep adding to the 950. I do love it though. Murph.
I've traded my Yamaha 950 for a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Limited Low. I've been riding as much as I can , and have only 1200 miles on it as of my ride today. It is so much more than what I had I'm glad I made the switch. My wife has been on it a few times now and we have had great rides together as it has been 30 yrs for her as well. We're going all out on the gear also, boots, jackets, hoodies and tees. At first the bike seemed so much heavier and harder to ride for me I admit. After every ride it seems I am getting more comfortable where I can say weight wise it feels the same as the other bike although it is at least 200 lbs heavier. Tight corners are getting easier etc. and I say to myself OK this is how you ride this sucker. I wish it was March instead of November but I guess you all feel the same as I do.
I gave those girly looking chaps to my wife, and am looking to buy a new pair for cold rides . I'll let you know how the cold sunny days go this winter. 50 and sunny I know I'll be out. Safe riding to you all and I'll see ya later, Murph
