I'm an electrician at a fuel injector plant in Newport News. I'm married to a wonderful woman, and have one son. Pam must be great; she puts up with me.

Questions and Answers about yourself:

We both have Honda Shadows. We ride our bikes to work when the weathers nice and go for rides around town and out in the country on the weekends.

I rode a motorcycle for the first time when I was 15.  I went to visit my aunt and her biker boyfriend.  He put me on his Honda 350 and made me start and stop over and over again until I could start off without stalling the bike.  Then he sent me out on the rode by myself.  I had a blast and I only dropped the bike once.  I didn't get my own bike until my last year in the Navy seven years later.  It was a 1980 Kawasaki 440 LTD. It was my only transportation for about two years.  That was kind of a wild time in my life and I can't remember to save my life when I got rid of that bike or why.

I started riding again in the spring of 2008 after more than 20 years. Boy, it was like starting all over.

I think Harleys are really cool looking and would like to have one someday.  I test rode a Sportster in Feb. of 2010 but didn't like it.  Compared to my bike, it rode really rough and didn't handle as well.  The salesman told me that all Sportsters ride like that, and if I wanted a bike that rides as smooth as mine I'd have to get a bigger bike like a Softail or a Dyna.  I didn't think I was ready for a big bike yet, so I decided to fix up my Honda a little and keep it for a while.

I've bought a lot of stuff from Cruiser Customizing.  They seem to have a good selection of accessories and a website that makes it easy to find what your looking for.  I like all the stories, pictures, and videos on the their website too.
