My modified exhaust sound.

I posted some pictures of the "look" of the exhaust mod I did to my stock V-Star 1100 exhaust. A few of you were interested in the "sound", so here that is. I also make a few comments about the AirHawk 2 cushion (seat). I probably won't be able to give the report I mentioned a week ago... the weather here is just not going to co-operate. But, if you can wait a few months, I promise to take the AirHawk (and the bike!) for a long test drive.

I will also be making a series of videos to show you a "really fun" quick ride I take almost every night and weekend (when there is no snow). That run goes from my home, along the Waverly Road, and ending at my local Tim Horton's. You can think of the Waverly road as a short, slow, version of the very famous Dragon!

sounds good, what modifications did you make to the system??

kjborn38... Hi, I'm not sure what you mean exactly, sorry. Pretty much everything I did is explained in the pics and videos I've uploaded. If you have been through those and still have questions, fire away... I'll be glad to answer them.

Nice job with the video, sound nice.

Speaking of the Dragon, you should come down with us in the spring to give it a try.

Typical Vstar doesnt like starting from cold. The bike sounds good. Thanks for that video and the snow

Roads are clean! Hit the road Bite!

sounds goodCool

Pipes sound better than stock and that's for sure ... but I still prefer my Vance and Hines.  (I like it a little on the louder side don'cha know!) Cool

Now, THAT´S what I´m calling the sound!!!

Great sound.  Like it.

CromagnaMan... I agree! The "real thing" does sound better. There is a guy up here who offered to sell me a set of V&H slip-ons that he just bought for his 2010 V-Star 1100 Classic.

They looked and sounded so good, I told him he should think about it over the winter... he was only asking $250.00... before tax, they sell for $440.00 up here (our sales tax is 15%). So, that is a good deal for sure.

Real great sound.

Sounds pretty good!

I love my Airhawk mK2. Just don't over-inflate it...your butt should be barely above the original seat. You sit in it, rather than on it (if that makes sense). The air should move around from cell to cell when you rock/shift about.

NICE SOUND GREAT STUFF!Smile

CoolThat works gota nice deep sound.  NIce video..

SOUNDS GREAT. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT WINTER IS THAT ITS A GOOD TIME TO ADD THOSE LITTLE EXTRA BITS AND POLISH THE BLING.
